Community

The Albion High School is an extended school and we aim to provide community opportunities all year round. Our facilities may be booked by community groups for use during the evenings, weekends or holidays.

We have a range of up-to-date facilities including an all-weather football pitch, a ‘Sport England standard’ sports hall and a new fitness suite, added in 2009.

As a specialist Maths and Computing College, we have excellent facilities for ICT, including the new Community Computer Suite which can be booked throughout the day by local groups and individuals.
Our Visual and Performing Arts accommodation includes specialist provision for dance, drama, music, ceramics, textiles, multimedia and fine arts.

The Science and Technology areas provide specialist environments for resistant and compliant materials, food and nutrition, and a full range of scientific studies.

Opening Hours

Our visitors reception desk opens before 8am, and rarely closes before 5.30pm. Throughout the winter months we open as late as 9pm to accommodate a busy community programme.
